| Good Afternoon Colleagues, The 2023 Black Student Success Week is scheduled for April 24 through April 28. This year’s theme is “Vision to Action: Building Systems and Structures for Black Student Success.” The focus of the week-long event will be on successful approaches to ensuring Black and African American students succeed at California community colleges. The schedule of virtual activities for the week include: • The Black Hour: A series of daily webinars hosted from noon to 1 p.m. • The After Party: A series of daily small group discussion forums held from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. • The BlackOut: A virtual advocacy day event held on April 27, 2023.
