Welcome to the WACAC Community College Transfer Comittee (WCCTC) page! What is the WCCTC? WCCTC is the acronym associated with the newly established committee (Fall 2009) within the WACAC association. WACAC stands for Western Association of College Admissions Counselors, which is part of the national association, NACAC.

TCDA has been suspended for the next three years as we explore expanding transfer awareness and efforts through this larger organization (WACAC) which focuses on the movement of students into higher education (See TCDA – WACAC Merger Announcement). To some extent, this merge can be viewed as trying to close the loop as membership already includes high school counselors as well as university admissions counselors and advisors. We are hopeful that transfer-related efforts, advocacy, and communication from a more comprehensive viewpoint will help to improve transfer for the students we will all eventually share. 

The Transfer Center Directors in California are members of WACAC.
