Dear Colleagues:
We are well aware of the impacted programs in Nursing that are currently in California. We wanted you to know that we have had a tremendous increase in applications from California thanks to the many of you who are determined to have your students finish their nursing degree without having to wait.
The University of Southern Nevada College of Nursing is accepting applications for its 18-month Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program for the following classes and campuses:
• Henderson, Nevada campus: August 2011 and January 2012
• South Jordan, Utah campus: January 2012
We are also accepting applications for our Accelerated BSN program (14-month) for students who have earned a Bachelor’s degree in another field and are interested in a second degree. We are still accepting applications for our April 2011 class at this time.
We currently do NOT have a waitlist for all of our programs, however, please note that we are beginning to see a large increase in applications for our January class in the Henderson, Nevada campus.
All students who enter our program are transfer students as we do not offer any prerequisite courses at USN. If students wish to have a preliminary evaluation of their coursework done, please have them send their unofficial transcripts to bsnadmissions@usn.edu.
