Effective July 1, 2011, University of Southern Nevada will officially be known as:
The University of Southern Nevada Board of Trustees formally approved the name change on Dec. 10, 2010. The University’s remarkable growth in Nevada and Utah was the catalyst for a name change, and we believe that “University of Southern Nevada” no longer reflects who we are and whom we serve. The important decision to change the name of University of Southern Nevada reinforces our commitment to the educational mission and overall growth of our university.
