Dear Community College counselors, faculty, and articulation officers, Here are a few things we hope your students will find helpful in their preparation to transfer to UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design (Architecture, Urban Studies, and Landscape Architecture majors): 1. We are offering a host of great events on Cal Day, April 17th (CED faculty lectures, a welcome from the dean, major information sessions, tours, a gallery of faculty/alumni work, opportunities to talk with current students, etc.). This is a wonderful way to see the campus at its best and we would love to meet your students. An updated event schedule will soon be available on the web at http://calday.berkeley.edu/ 2. Please urge all students with even the slightest interest in Cal to complete an interest form at Picture Yourself at Cal http://students.berkeley.edu/admissions/general.asp?id=5137. Students will receive their own personalized webpage based on their academic interests and will be added to the Cal mailing list to receive event invitations, advising opportunities, and admissions news. This is a great way for prospective students to stay informed about the admissions process. 3.
