Hello:
Please be advised of the following updates for The University of California, Irvine:
MAJOR TITLE CHANGE:
The undergraduate major of Social Science and the degree B.A. Social Science have been approved for a title change. The new major title and degree title are Social Policy and Public Service.
NEW MAJOR:
A new major entitled Biology/Education, B.S. has been approved. Students can apply November 2012 for fall 2013.
STUDIO ART UPDATES:
Arts has requested that courses articulating with ART STU 65A Foundations in Media Design & ART STU 65B Foundations in Internet Art and Design be removed. The focus of the courses has changed from previous years.
ART STU 71A Introduction to Photography I and ART STU 71B Introduction to Photography II are requiring that "All photography classes must be petitioned for subject credit upon matriculating into UCI's Studio Art Program".
ART STU 81A Video Production & ART STU 81B Video Stage Production are requiring that "All video classes must be petitioned for subject credit upon matriculating into UCI's Studio Art Program".
