Dear Colleagues,
I have happy to inform you that the suspension of admission into UCLA's International Development Studies major has been lifted effective September 1, 2010. International Development Studies will continue to remain, "Highly Selective," therefore completion of all major pre-major courses is crucial.
In addition to the 6 lower divsion major courses, students must also complete a foreign language (Intermediate Level) or show proof of a placement exam from the foreign language department. The IDS major will be fully articulated again in Assist for the upcoming 2010-2011 academic year.
