CSUEB 2012 Admission Updates. 12-05-11
Dear Colleagues:
After very careful enrollment management activities over the last few years, CSUEB is in a position where we have the flexibility to strategically grow our new student enrollment once again. This is good news since we continue to be committed to serving as many students as possible who fully meet our admission requirements and follow established deadlines.
Therefore Cal State East Bay’s Office of Admission is happy to announce that we will continue to accept applications from Upper-Division Transfer for the Spring and Fall 2012 Quarters.
With this new information, please note the following changes being made:
- CSUEB will discontinue its upper-division transfer impaction status effective Fall 2012 application cycle; therefore, applications will be accepted from students (regardless of students’ location) who meet the general CSU admission requirements and meet all published deadlines as outlined at: www.csueastbay.edu/deadlines
- Existing major impactions (Nursing and Business) will remain and be unchanged.
- Applications will still not be accepted from lower-division transfer students. Exceptions to this rule are current/former members of the military and returning students.
- CSUEB will utilize existing priority deadlines (i.e. document deadlines and SIR deadlines) as necessary if application volumes exceed the numbers the campus can accommodate.
All web sites and publications are being updated accordingly.
