Subject: CSUC Announces Science Teacher Program Scholarships
$55,000 For Your Students To Become High School Science Teachers!
Here at CSU Chico we are determined to train the next generation of science teachers! Last year our grads from the science teacher program got starting salaries between $45,000 and $60,000 a year. All of them got jobs – even in this economy.
We are seeking highly talented individuals for our program and we offer financial assistance of up to $55,000 per student to defray college expenses. We have available:
• National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Scholarships of $12,000 per year for up to two years.
• Student loan repayment by the State of California up to $19,000.
• Teacher Recruitment Scholarships that can total over $12,000 for up to four years.
• This year we are even buying the textbooks for students planning to become science teachers.
You can see we are serious about training science teachers.
