Dear Colleagues:

California State University, East Bay is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications from upper-division transfer students for Spring Quarter 2012, for select majors, from August 1-August 31 (and on a space available basis thereafter.) So, please encourage students to submit an application soon!

Please note, that current and former members of the military are given admission priority. If you have a member of the military who is interested in applying after the deadline, students should contact wendy.herbert@csueastbay.edu for special application instructions.

Students planning to apply to Cal State East Bay for Spring Quarter 2012 must submit an application through CSU Mentor by the deadline specified below. To view a full list of the select open majors, visit CSU Mentor.

Cal State East Bay Application & Document Deadlines Spring Quarter 2012
Priority Application Filing Period August 1 – August 31; on a space available basis thereafter
Partial Document Deadline (with in-progress coursework) February 15, 2012
Final Document Deadline April 14, 2012
Spring Classes Begin April 2, 2012


 To apply for admission to Cal State East Bay, students must complete the following items.
 

  • Submit an application through CSU Mentor at www.csumentor.edu and pay the $55 non-refundable application fee.
  • Request official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended to be sent to Cal State East Bay. Transcripts may be mailed directly by the college or university or hand-carried in an original sealed envelope to Cal State East Bay's Enrollment Information Center in the Student Services & Administration Building on the Hayward Campus, or to the Academic Services Center on the Concord Campus.
  • Upper-division transfer applicants must have 60 transferable semester units (90 transferable quarter units) and the four basic skills courses completed by the beginning of the term prior to enrollment. (For example, Spring Quarter applicants must complete these items by the end of the prior Fall term.) The basic skills courses can be found at: www.csueastbay.edu/admission.
