Global Studies Online Program
Accepting Applications for Spring 2011
Applications Due by November 1
Do you know students who…
- are ready to move on and complete their BA degrees?
- need a flexible program that allows them to live anywhere and to continue to work while completing their degree?
- are interested in pursuing a BA program that focuses on global issues?
If you know students like this, perhaps the Global Studies Online program at San José State University is right for them. Please encourage them to apply! The Global Studies Online program is now accepting applications for Spring 2011. The deadline for application is November 1, 2010.
Applicants to the program must be eligible for admission to SJSU as upper-division transfers. Students in the program earn 63 semester credit hours. To graduate students must demonstrate intermediate proficiency in a language other than English and must fulfill an international experience requirement (accommodations can be made for AB-540 students).
The program will be particularly appropriate for students who are interested in pursuing a global career, live at a distance from a CSU campus, work fulltime or must maintain flexible work hours, or travel regularly in their work. Students currently in the program are also completing their BA degrees while living and working overseas. The program would also allow international students to complete an American BA while living in their home country.
