 Economic Based Scholarships

  1. $5,000 scholarship. This scholarship is exclusively for US students pursuing a degree that will help combat nursing home abuse. The scholarship will cover non-tuition related expenses such as rent, childcare, textbooks, utilities and groceries for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Merit Based Scholarships

  1. Society of women Engineers. The application for sophomores through graduate students is typically available December 1st through February 15th. For freshmen: March 1st through May 15th. (SWE) 
  2. Honors Society (PTK) announces three scholarships now available:
    - The All-USA Community College Academic Team
    -  The Jeanette Rankin Foundation Scholarship
    -  Pearson Prize for Higher Education

  3. PG&E Brightminds Scholarship.  PG&E is awarding up to $1 million in scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $30,000!
  4. Stop-painting.com Floor Marking Scholarship. A $500 award is available to any student attending an accredited college. The scholarship is open to currently enrolled full-time college freshmen, sophomores and juniors, as well as high school seniors in the United States. Only one entry is permitted per student. To be eligible, please complete and email your essay to scholarship@stop-painting.com
