Navigating The TCW Made Easy
TCW is a "one-stop" website chock full of transfer related information, advising tools and resources designed to assist transfer counselors. Because of the size of the TCW website-over 30,000 links-the design team has been providing training sessions at conferences and through CCCConfer to make navigating the TCW easier. We are pleased to announce that we now offer three types of training sessions on how to navigate the TCW easier:
1. You can request a live Webcast Training Session. Webcast training sessions are best when large groups of counselors are participating at the same time. A webcast training session through CCCConfer takes about 1 1/2 hours to present, which includes a question and answer session at the end of the training. If you would like to schedule a webcast training session for your college counselors, contact Ruth De Tro at detroru@butte.edu.
2. You can simply watch the training video (below). You now have the option to watch the entire training video or in modules, at your leisure, from your office computer.
**NOTE: This video was filmed using the original website platform. The TCW team worked hard to maintain the look, feel and continuity of the old website as we transition to the new website platform. There are a few differences we would like to turn your attention to, such as new Google-like search features, additions and modifications to content and new communication tools. The TCW looks and navigates the same and the changes will not effect you the value of the training video.
