- 2012 STEMtech Conference. The League for Innovation is pleased to announce its Call for Proposals for the 2012 STEMtech. Proposals to present at the 2012 STEMtech conference are being accepted now through April 13, 2012, for the following conference tracks.

2012 CSU Counselor Conference. The CSU Counselor Conference Registration sites are now live. The California State University welcomes all those who advise students about higher education to our annual counselor conferences. Valuable information about CSU admission, enrollment management, financial aid, and student services will be provided through various workshops.
- The registration fee is $65 (due by Sept 7, 2012).
- Fee increases to $95.00 if payment is not received by Sept 7, 2012.
- Your registration will not be processed without payment.
- If you anticipate registration fees will be paid directly by a school district or organization and payment has not been received by Sept 7, 2012, you will be required to pay by personal check in the amount of $95.00 at the conference.
- Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to another conference site.
- No purchase orders accepted.

Current UC Conferences & Materials
- UC Curriculum Integration (UCCI) Institute. NEW! Counselors, teachers and administrators are invited to apply to UCCI’s summer session.
When: July 15-18
Where: The Westin San Francisco Airport in Burlingame, Calif.
Course development teams of six to 10 educators will collaborate on the design of innovative model courses that integrate career technical education (CTE) with academic (“a-g”) subjects; each team will draft one course. The Institute topics for summer 2012 are:
• Health Science and Medical Technology with History/Social Science (“a”)
• Information and Communication Technologies with Mathematics (“c”)
Once approved, these courses will be added to the UC course list website [doorways.ucop.edu/list] for any California high school to implement. Please apply online at www.ucop.edu/ucci DEADLINE: May 28. Attendance, meals and lodging are paid for with a grant from the California Department of Education (excludes travel costs). - The Latino Medical Student Association-West (LMSA West) is proud to announce the 28th Annual LMSA West Regional Conference. The conference theme is “At a Crossroads: Ensuring a Healthy Future.” In addition to promoting the principles of leadership, mentorship and advocacy, the conference will provide valuable workshops for attendees. This event will bring together physicians, researchers, medical students and undergraduates in a forum to explore the many career paths in the health professions and share valuable skills and information with our future community leaders.
Last year, LMSA West hosted an unprecedented 1,200 attendees for our conference in Southern California. We hope to continue this positive momentum and host yet another conference packed with young future leaders dedicated to improving the health status of vulnerable communities everywhere.

Best Practices for Serving Student Veterans - One Day Conference on best practices for serving student veteran's on college campuses was held in September, 2011 in San Francisco, CA. This conference was ideal for administrators, veterans services staff, counselors, faculty, and disabled student service staff.
